Find Your Perfect Driver Height

Available from 30 mm up to 50 mm. The easiest way to start: pick the height you already feel comfortable with, then add one or two lower options for control shots.

As a general guide, based on your angle of attack:

Hitting up on the ball (+2° and more): 42 mm and higher for maximum launch and carry.

Neutral (around 0°): 36 to 42 mm.

Hitting down on the ball: 30 to 36 mm for solid contact and control.

Our recommendation:
The 20 mm Fairway Finder: Lower than most golfers are used to, and that is exactly the point. FAQ

Which height should I choose?

Start with the height you already play and feel comfortable with, then add one or two lower options for control shots. As a guide: hitting up on the ball calls for 42 mm and higher, a neutral strike for 36 to 42 mm, hitting down for 30 to 36 mm. Our tee height guide has the full chart for every swing type.

Why buy more than one height?

Because tee height is a tool. A higher tee maximizes carry, a lower tee produces the flat, controlled fairway finder. Practicing both on the range gives you an extra shot to call on when the course demands it.

Will the tether affect my swing or ball flight?

No. The lightweight cord lies flat on the turf behind the tee and stays completely out of the strike zone. You will forget it is there, until it saves your tee.

What happens if I hit the tee directly?

Nothing. The soft engineering polymer flexes on impact and springs back into shape. It will not damage your club face, and your club will not damage the tee.

Does it work on natural grass?

Yes. The tee is designed for artificial turf and range mats, but it works on natural grass as well. If needed, use the second hole in the hook to pin it down with a regular tee.

Can I use it indoors on a launch monitor?

Yes. For camera-based launch monitors we recommend the black SIM-Stealth Tee, identical in every way except the color, which minimizes interference with optical tracking.
